Kelley Rooney, National GOP initiative in NC
Kelley Rooney, Regional Director NCGOP Victory Campaign 2012, is our keynote speaker. Kelley is a native Californian, coming to us by way of Mississippi. She was a student athlete at the University of Southern Mississippi, where she served as Chair for the Mississippi Federation of College Republicans. She will be giving us an inside look at the GOP National campaign and its interface with local Wake County efforts.

Wake County Republican Convention
Register at wakegop.org for the 2012 Wake County Republican Convention held March 22, 2012 at the Kerr Scott Building, NC State Fair Grounds. Doors open at 5:30 PM, convention starts at 7:00 PM. Be sure to register before March 17th to get the early bird price! After that date, the price doubles!

Richard McElroy, PhD, is a graduate of Fielding Graduate University. He is Chair, College of Business & Management; Chair, Keller Graduate School of Management at Devry University. He is also the Founder/President at American Institute of Organizational Effectiveness (AIOE).

Guest Speaker: State Representative Dale Folwell, Speaker Pro Tempore of the North Carolina House of Representatives
Rep. Folwell, a native son of Raleigh, resides in Winston-Salem, and represents the 74th legislative district. In recent years he has been a legislative leader in efforts including education, crime prevention, government efficiency and conservative family values. In 2011, Civitas ranked Folwell as the sixth most conservative member of the House. The topic of his talk is “Changing the Way We Do Business”.

Online Auction: The online auction portion of the 2011 Paint the Town Red Fundraiser runs from August 8, 2011 to August 23, 2011, with the live event taking place on August 25, 2011.
When: Thursday August 25th, 2011 doors open @ 5:30pm
Where: Events at Newton Square, 230 Newton Rd. Raleigh
What: Heavy Hors d’oeuvres, dessert, beverages. Wine and Beer available for purchase. Silent and Live Auction, Susan Bryant, Wake GOP Chair will be the auctioneer.
Special Guest speakers: Speaker of the House, Thom Tillis, will speak, and we will have a video address by 2012 Gubernatorial Candidate, Pat McCrory. Carmen from Rush Radio, The Morning Show, will MC. 100% of proceeds will help get our LOCAL Conservative Candidates elected this fall.
